Aon PLC and Australian insurtech firm Claim Central Consolidated Pty. Ltd. have established a strategic alliance to automate insurance and reinsurance claims handling, Aon said in a statement Tuesday. Technology used will include live video streaming, aerial imagery, real-time chat and digital payments, the statement said. Claim Central will establish a support center for the alliance with Aon in Jacksonville, Florida, with desk examiners, field adjusters and a connection to a credentialed contractor repair network, the statement said.
“Claim Central is utilizing technology to make a meaningful impact in the area of claims management,” Andy Marcell, CEO of Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions business in New York, said in the statement.
